Chennai rain update: 9.30p Dec 2nd, 2015

Updates at 9:30 pm.: Chennai might have some heavy showers tomorrow. Will reconfirm this later tonight. The same is the case with Pondicherry. Also, Chennai airport is closed till Dec 6th. However, Indian naval airbase, INS Rajali near Arrakonam - 70 KM from Chennai may be opened for civil aviation tomorrow if central govt approves it. All three forces and National Disaster Management team all are getting more resources into the city. Afflicted people may get some relief. Will update this post again later in the night. - Christus Frank Antony

The nation really wants to know why do you exist. Just fyi - Chennai and TN - we are part of India. We feel proud to be part of India though you forgot the misery of thousands of flood victims across Tamil Nadu. You made stories out of the human misery as a breaking news. However, you fail to see the need for relief and rehab in ground zero (real - not the computer generated one ). Wish 'today' 'India' realizes how you galvanize us to things that are important for your well-wishers (advertisers) and movers and shakers (I saw a picture of one such man going by boat in his lungi with a smart phone and another had a miserable sendoff).
