Religion and religious have always sought a way to fix their mind on their God(s). Some of the orthodox churches are no exception to it. They have always included an image, statue, idol, and iconography part of their rituals and as an identification of religiosity. Propelled by Renaissance, with the power and wealth of Roman church, the artists went about expressing their mental image of Jesus (Yeshua * ) in an elegant and princely manner. Over a period of time Yeshua has become more westernized in our mind than what He was. We have idolized Yeshua with looks of Christian Bale, Jim Caviezel and the likes. However, now, the forensic experts have come up with an image of Yeshua — The Jesus, which can really puzzle your mind and your spirituality. There is an element of imagination that goes into our interaction with God. This being the fact, will you believe Yeshua in the form that your mind might see in future. Year 2016 is declared as a ‘Year of Pulses’ by UN — United Nations! Can someone provide a square meal for the refugees and homeless in conflict and draught zones. Please stop the war mongers from targeting the relief works like the one they did to MSF! No sanctions and bans for these humanitarian crimes! At least some resolutions following the UN conventions! Pope Francis has called for a special Jubilee year and it will be called a ‘Holy Year of Mercy’. Hope its own pastors show mercy and will enjoy their God’s mercy. Unseen heroes #HelpChennai - What about you ! ********************************************* More rains has washed this city over the last few days. However, that has produced more #Volunteers. Rain waters have turned an ordinary citizen into ’live saving heroes’. These heroes have faced quiet an ordeal. I am proud of these true citizens of India. They don’t need a #NationalMedia coverage or debate. For sure, they don’t want the nation to answer the big questions. They weren’t waiting for 2000 Crores. They didn’t wait for an aerial view. A team visit and assessment by bureaucrats wasn’t required for them to respond. They didn’t look at their tax contributions. In fact, they don’t care whether their employers will do their contribution or CSR. They heard the cry and they were there to support and save lives! Period. You may have minor showers through the evening and night - mostly drizzles. Otherwise you are safe. However, South West coastal TN / Pondicherry …Cuddalore, Nagai, Tuticorin, Tirunelveli, Kanyakumari - will get some heavy showers. Chennai @ 7am - 4 Dec: Good morning Chennai! As I post this few areas in Chennai might be experiencing some rain already. This will be patchy and not widespread. There might be some heavy rains but not bad ones. Came across this -  "The low will cause the most numerous and heaviest rainfall to be focused across the eastern coast of Tamil Nadu to far southern Kerala into Saturday. While the highest rainfall totals during this time will likely be recorded south of Chennai, the city faces additional rainfall and flooding downpours. The low will move away after Saturday, but tropical moisture will keep streaming inland and lead to more drenching showers and thunderstorms". Chennai Rain update 6pm 3 Dec: Chennai! Wow some mercies. No much rain against all expectation. Rains were very minimal.  You may have some sparing showers. You should be happy for tomorrow as well. Tomorrow, there might be few drizzles and generally dry. However, Pondicherry, Cuddalore and neighboring areas will have some heavy downpour. Wish there will some change of weather and respite for them. Since media is hounding Chennai, we know the impact.
