#NationalMedia you don’t get sensational with relief work.  Do you? The nation really wants to know why do you exist. Just fyi - Chennai and TN - we are part of India. We feel proud to be part of India though you forgot the misery of thousands of flood victims across Tamil Nadu. You made stories out of the human misery as a breaking news. However, you fail to see the need for relief and rehab in ground zero (real - not the computer generated one ). Wish 'today' 'India' realizes how you galvanize us to things that are important for your well-wishers (advertisers) and movers and shakers (I saw a picture of one such man going by boat in his lungi with a smart phone and another had a miserable sendoff). Since you are failing as a "fourth estate", "fifth estate" we are making our voice heard in the wilderness. You have forgotten rest of India (People). You are obsessed with Power - New Delhi (including the odd and even stupidity - Can't understand the stupidity and you host a debate on it. Few do come and vomit eloquence live). For sure India does not want to know that! Period.

We trusted you. You have failed us too.

Learn from Chennai. The #SpiritOfChennai is that of unseen heroes. Nameless one. Not to be noticed. Common man - for sure not the "odd or even" fools. They don’t look for your loud noises (debates) and ground zero candid eloquent reporting. For sure not the 'breaking news". You broke enough.

We will demonstrate what is people power. We are making our future. We will build Chennai.

We knew water had power to destroy. However, we are seeing 'fire' being kindled. We aren't perfect. However, we haven't lost our humanity. We were made benevolent and we are discovering that and kindling the kindred with same fire. We will blaze. We will bring forth a newer city with better livelihood.

We lost our loved ones, for the greed of few and because of the foolishness of the majority. The movers and shakers have truly shaken us and dug a pit for us. We will rise! We will #HelpChennai .

No personal gain! But common good! We will not fall for your empty praise! We are new and vibrant Chennai!

We are washed! We will shine!

We are Chennai! Learn from the #SpiritOfChennai!

Footnote: We don’t consider politicians part of our Chennai. They ceased to exist as dinosaurs did. They live in hades and they belong to Hadean eon.

However, this depends on the existing 'favorable' conditions...
